About the event:
10:30am – Duration 60 mins walk, plus 30-60 mins refreshments and heritage centre visit.
Starting and finishing at Hull Fishing Heritage Centre, 255 Hessle Rd, Hull HU3 4BE, you will learn about the centre’s database of all Hull-registered trawlers and trawlermen, going right back into the 19th century. Led by Jerry Thompson, one of the founders of the HFHC.
Tea and coffee will be provided at the end of the tour and you will have time to look around the collection of memorabilia, shop models etc.
Hull Fishing Heritage Centre is at the south-west corner of the cross-roads of Hessle Road and Boulevard.
